Our Mission at Southpark Baptist Youth:
To partner with God to direct our students to a Christ-centered life of faith with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The 3 D’s of our Youth Group:
To DEVOTE to the Gospel
   alongside one another
To DISCIPLE in the Gospel
   by one another
To DISPENSE the Gospel
   to one another

Devotion: We encourage our students in their personal lives. This begins with a regenerated heart, when a person accepts Christ as their Lord, their savior, their very treasure. Cultivating devotion to the Gospel means we exhort our students in scripture reading, in prayer, in a vibrant personal walk.

Discipleship: We train and equip our students within the church. We do this by training them further in spiritual disciplines, and offering them the guidance and coaching that they desperately need. Cultivating discipleship in the Gospel means we pursue their spiritual health in community, teaching, and speaking.
Being discipled by one another means that we commit to mentoring and being mentored. That as we are trained, we train others.

Dispensing: We must examine the needs of the lost and the hurting. This is accomplished by bringing the Good News of Jesus both in proclamation and demonstration (word and deed). Cultivating the dispensing of the Gospel means we engage our community in evangelism, charity, and service.

Parents, you can sign up to receive a family devotional that supplements your student’s curriculum in Sunday School. These can be a family devotional aide, or guide your questions.
